About the project

Our project is committed to align with our strategic priorities to the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) especially to those concerning the better and more sustainable environment for all. This project will make children aware of the major problem of the Earth pollution and will give them the opportunity to discuss the capability of making a better living by informing the community about these environmental problems and trying to provide solutions. Through this project students will identify the Earth in the Universe as their home, they will make the people aware of the importance of taking care of our planet, they will collaborate in order to promote recycling, they will try to maintain our environment clean, they will use the natural resources, they will show respect to nature. Finally, the project will allow young Europeans to grow together and understand each other in a sensitive and respectful way.

Aims

Awareness and sensitivity to the environment and environmental challenges
Knowledge and understanding of the environment and environmental challenges
Creation of an environmentally safe attitude and motivation to improve or maintain environmental quality
Skills to identify and help resolve environmental challenges
Participation in activities that lead to the resolution of environmental challenges.
Work together and assign and carry out tasks for a common goal.
Introduce the use of web 2.0 tools.
Exchange experiences.
